Neath Port Talbot Shopmobility is a registered charity number 1068667 and company limited by guarantee registered in Wales number 03445091.Should you wish to get in touch with us, our contact details can be found on our contact us page.

Our aim is to assist people with mobility impairments, whether temporary or permanent to access the shopping centres and locality within the towns of Neath and Port Talbot by providing facilities, in particular, wheelchairs and electric mobility scooters with the objective of improving their mobility, independence and quality of life.

The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name, address, postcode, email and other contact details)

How we get the personal information and why we have it

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reason:

  • To register you as a user and to provide our services/equipment to you.

We use the information that you have given us in order to.

  • Maintain our customer records whilst you are registered to use our services.
  • To enable us to provide you with our equipment and services.
  • For insurance purposes whilst using our services.
  • To keep you informed of any changes in our services.

We do not share your information with any other organisation or individual.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on our database.

We keep your personal information for as long as you remain a registered user of our services until we are notified that you wish to terminate your registration or no longer require our services. When we have been notified that you no longer wish to use our services, or cease to be a member for any other reason, We will then remove your information from our database and any paper based registration record will be securely shredded.

You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
